The Nanjing Warship No. 131 is a warship themed on China’s first-generation self-designed Type 051 guided missile destroyer. It provides a new platform for tourists to closely experience national defense forces and learn about military revolutions.
The Nanjing Warship No. 131 has witnessed the rise and development of China’s navy. The ship was commissioned into the East Sea Fleet of the navy in February 1977. It was also the first domestically produced first-generation guided missile destroyer of the East Sea Fleet at that time. In September 2012, the Nanjing Warship No. 131 held a solemn decommissioning ceremony, ending its glorious service career. During its more than 30 years of service, it has sailed 450,000 nautical miles and successfully completed more than 20 major combat readiness and military exercise tasks. At the same time, it has successively received more than 40 heads of state and political leaders and is known as the ‘diplomatic star ship’. Opening hours: Open from 08:30 to 17:30 all year round.
