Nanlishi Road Park is located on the east side of Nanlishi Road Street in Xicheng District, west of the West Second Ring Road. Established in 1960, with the rapid development of urban construction and the increasing cultural and entertainment needs of the people, the current state of the park could no longer meet the needs of society. In 2001, the Xicheng District Garden Bureau began a comprehensive renovation of Nanlishi Road Park. The new park features main roads paved with marble, squares, sculptures, fitness areas, children’s activity areas, and a comprehensive adjustment of plant materials. Additional facilities such as benches, trash cans, street lamps, and sprinkler systems have been added. The renovated Nanlishi Road Park, with its fresh and clean appearance, has received high praise from the public. The park is open all day from January 1st to December 31st.
