The Nanshan Botanical Garden in Chongqing is a forest botanical garden with the characteristics of subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest, integrating scientific research, species preservation, popular science education and tourism. It is located at 101 Nanshan Botanical Garden Road, Nan’an District, Chongqing City, facing the downtown area of Chongqing across the river. It is only 15 kilometers away from the city center. The Nanshan Botanical Garden covers a large area, with an altitude ranging from 420m to 680.5 meters. It is 5000 meters wide from east to west and 3500 meters long from north to south. The planned control area reaches 15 square kilometers, and the actual area is 551 hectares. Here is not only a great place for enjoying flowers, but also a low-mountain ornamental botanical garden integrating popular science research and display of garden art landscapes.
