Nanshan Museum is a large-scale comprehensive state-owned museum featuring a permanent exhibition titled ‘Nanshan Story’, which narrates the historical development of Nanshan from ancient times to the present. The exhibition is divided into three phases: ‘Ancient Nanshan’, ‘Modern Nanshan’, and ‘Nanshan’s Reform and Opening History’. Additionally, the museum periodically hosts thematic exhibitions showcasing cultural and artistic treasures from various regions. Opening hours are 10:00-17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year; the museum is closed all day on Mondays; and during New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day, the museum is open from 10:00-17:00.


Service facilities include luggage storage: self-service lockers and manual storage for large luggage (strollers must be self-attended, and storage service is not provided). Stroller and wheelchair rental: complimentary strollers and wheelchairs are provided (a valid ID is required as a deposit for borrowing strollers and wheelchairs, with no deposit needed) and umbrella rental (a deposit of 100 yuan is required for umbrella rental). Rain gear rental: free of charge, with a deposit of 100 yuan required.
