Nanshan Temple Guanyin Hall

Nanshan Temple, originally established during the prosperous Tang Dynasty, has a history of over 1200 years. The Ming Dynasty Emperor Shenzong once bestowed the Buddhist plaque ‘Haiyin’, illuminating its gate. The Governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, Dai Yao, also presented the inscription ‘The Path of the Sixth Patriarch of Caoxi Preaching’, making Nanshan Temple widely known. Due to various reasons, Nanshan Temple gradually fell into obscurity. After its reconstruction, it has been able to regain its former glory and continue its spiritual lineage.
The Guanyin Hall within the temple is a place where people pray and make wishes.
