The Nanwan Monkey Island Ecological Tourism Area includes two parts: Monkey Island Park and Dai Dai Island. A 2,138-meter long cross-sea sightseeing cableway connects the mysterious Nanwan Monkey Island, the charming tropical harbor, the rich ‘Dan Family folk customs’, and the bustling fishing port scenery. Riding the cable car over the sea, visitors can overlook the harbor with a thousand sails competing and fish farms standing densely; bathed in the cool sea breeze, visitors can gaze at the distant clean and charming beaches and the graceful coconut forests swaying in the wind, observe the white clouds dotting the blue sky, and see the sea and sky merging at the horizon, with pleasant scenery that leaves a lasting impression.

Dai Dai Island is located in the southwest coastal area of the Nanwan Peninsula, about 14 kilometers south of Lingshui County, Hainan Province, adjacent to the Qingshui Bay Resort in the west, and facing Wuzhizhou Island across the sea in the south. The beach coastline is 5.9 kilometers long, making it one of the particularly long and well-preserved beautiful beaches on the east coast of Hainan Island. It is one of the top ten romantic scenic spots in Hainan, a place of original ecology and tranquility.

The Dan Family fishing farms are located on the sea surface of Xincun Port in Xincun Town, Lingshui County, Hainan Province. The port is 4 kilometers long from north to south and 6 kilometers wide from east to west, covering an area of 24 square kilometers. The port is narrow inside and wide outside, with the Nanwan Peninsula embracing the east and west sides, calm waters inside the port, and good wind sheltering conditions, making it a naturally advantageous harbor. Known as the ‘street market on the sea’, the Dan Family fishing farms are one of the ‘eight scenic spots’ of Lingshui.
