Nan Yan Ancient Temple is located at the Feifeng Mountain Ridge in Dengfeng Village, Nanxi Town, Puning City. Its predecessor was the ‘Qingniu Cave’ from the Shang Dynasty, which worships the ancient Buddha Ran Deng. The construction of the Mahavira Hall began during the Tang Dynasty. The temple houses many historical relics and is one of the ‘Puning Ancient Eight Sights’. Nan Yan Ancient Temple has always been a place of continuous worship. It is open all year round from 07:00 to 21:00, with specific business status subject to the daily opening conditions.
