Nanyang Shiju is a Hakka enclosed house with a long history. It was built in 1695 (the 34th year of Kangxi). The house is still well-preserved. From a distance, it looks like a huge castle. In front of the building, there is a crescent-shaped moon pool. The pool water is green, and the scenery by the pool is reflected in it, which is very charming. Entering the enclosed house and opening the door of ‘General’s Residence’, four glittering halls will appear in front of you. Gold-painted carvings, gilded characters, etc., everywhere makes people admire the exquisite architectural craftsmanship of the ancients.
Must-see tips: As the scenic spot is not easy to locate, it is recommended to arrive at Tieshanmen Village first, and then ask the locals for the exact location of Nanyang Shiju.Nanyang Shiju
