On September 8, 2021, the Nanyue King Museum (Research Center for the History of Nanyue State of the Western Han Dynasty) was established by the merger of the former Western Han Nanyue King Museum and the former Nanyue Palace Museum. The Nanyue Palace Museum belongs to the palace exhibition area. It is located at No. 4 Zhongshan Road, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. The protected area is about 53,000 square meters. It is the only large-scale site project in Guangdong Province that is included in the key protection projects during the “11th Five-Year Plan” period.
