The exhibition hall of the memorial covers an area of approximately 1000 square meters and is composed of three parts: the basic display ‘Monument of Western Zhejiang’, the characteristic exhibition hall ‘Red Benchmark’, and the temporary exhibition hall ‘Red Memory’. It displays over 130 cultural relics, 35 military weapons, and more than 240 precious photographs, detailing the history of the New Fourth Army’s arduous resistance against Japanese aggression in the border areas of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui, as well as the stories of the local people’s active support for the military. The memorial is open from 08:30 to 16:30 all year round, with specific business status subject to the day’s opening conditions.
