The Ningbo Library was first established in 1927. The new library is located in the core area of administrative services in the Eastern New Town. It has a construction area of about 31,800 square meters. Lectures, exhibitions and other activities are often held.
Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year from 09:00 to 21:00; open from 13:00 to 21:00 on Mondays throughout the year; open from 09:00 to 21:00 on National Day. During the National Day period (October 1 – October 7), the opening hours of the self-service library are from 6:00 to 24:00.
