The Silk Road was the main artery for ancient China to reach the outside world. It connected different civilizations in the world, promoted the exchange of Chinese and foreign cultures, enhanced the friendship between Chinese and foreign people, enriched the connotation of Chinese culture, and had a profound impact on the entire history of human civilization. Ningbo is a hub city on the Maritime Silk Road, and Xi’an is the central city on the Land Silk Road.
