Brooks, hailing from the electronic music hub of the Netherlands, has grown to master various music styles through his passion and talent in music, as well as his continuous exploration in the field. This talented young artist was highly appreciated by DJ Showtek and subsequently joined the 2-Dutch label team, becoming one of the indispensable protagonists of the label. Later on, he also served as a remixer for works by Afrojack and David Guetta, aspiring to leave an indelible mark in the electronic music domain.
On April 7, 2017, Brooks collaborated with Dutch electronic music prodigy and producer Martin Garrix on the single ‘Byte,’ released by the label STMPD RCRDS. Prior to this, Brooks remixed Martin Garrix’s hit single ‘Scared To Be Lonely,’ a version that was loved by electronic music enthusiasts worldwide and topped charts in many countries. Recently, the single ‘Jetlag,’ a collaboration between Brooks and Mike Williams, was met with unanimous praise upon its release.
Soon after, in early 2018, Brooks teamed up with Martin Garrix and David Guetta to release the single ‘Like I Do,’ which carries a distinct Brooks flavor and ranked 11th on the Billboard ‘Dance/Electronic Songs’ chart that year, significantly boosting Brooks’ popularity.Even classmates who didn’t listen to electronic music were unknowingly playing this song. It can be said that Brooks is fortunate to collaborate with Martin Garrix and David Guetta shortly after his debut, and listeners can easily find his shadow in their works.
Brooks has released numerous original and remix works with his highly rhythmic Future House, gaining a large following of loyal listeners and performing on stages of major electronic music festivals such as Ultra and Tomorrowland.
