The Min Dong She Ethnic Museum (Ningde City Museum) was established in 1989 and has relocated several times. The new museum is located on Jinma North Road. The new museum covers an area of 5005 square meters, with the exhibition theme being ‘Symphony of Mountains and Seas: The Light of Eastern Fujian’, featuring four basic exhibition halls. The museum currently houses over 5000 cultural relics, including 482 precious relics at the third level or above, categorized into historical relics and She ethnic relics. The new museum now displays more than 600 pieces of various cultural relics. The exhibition halls include a holographic image of a covered bridge, a holographic illusion of a She ethnic wedding, a VR interactive experience of She ethnic martial arts, and an immersive cinema experience area for the development of Min Dong history and culture. Opening hours are closed all day on Mondays throughout the year; open from 08:30 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 18:00 all year round; and open from 08:30 to 12:00 and 14:30 to 17:30 all year round.
