Niutianyang is located in the western suburbs of Shantou City and is referred to as the second hometown by Li Zhaoxing. It is currently a military base. Situated within the inner harbor of Shantou City, on the west side of the Rongjiang River, there was once a beach that would be submerged during high tide and exposed during low tide, covering an area of tens of thousands of acres – this is Niutianyang. It is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
