The No Communist Party, No New China Memorial Hall is situated in the Xiayunling Forest Park within Fangshan District, Beijing. This historic site marks the birthplace of the song “No Communist Party, No New China.” The original location where Cao Huoxing composed both the lyrics and music is meticulously preserved.
The memorial hall, nestled against the mountainside, spans an area of approximately 6,000 square meters and encompasses three exhibition halls along with one historical site. The structure is designed as a single-story, interconnected building with a distinctive shape and style. The exhibition halls are titled “Historical Echoes, Voices of the People,” “An Immortal Song Flies Out from the Deep Mountains,” and “Let the Song in the Heart Be Passed on from Generation to Generation.” The historical site is the exact place where Cao Huoxing created the song in 1943.
The memorial hall showcases a collection of 800 historical photographs, along with monuments, oil paintings, wax figures, and reliefs that chronicle the song’s creation process.
Regarding the opening hours, the memorial hall is accessible from 08:00 to 11:00 and 13:30 to 16:30 throughout the year. Additionally, it remains open from 08:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 17:00 all year round.
