The exhibition, titled ‘Hutong Families’, is situated on the fifth floor of the square-shaped exhibition hall, specifically in Hall F. It offers a fascinating glimpse into the life customs and various etiquettes of old Beijingers from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China. The exhibition brings to life the activities such as marriage, childbirth, and festivals among the Hutong neighbors.
The exhibition is open all year round, with operating hours from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 to 17:00. It is closed all day on Mondays.
