The Old Wan Chai Post Office is located at the junction of Wan Chai Gap Road and Queen’s Road East. It is an existing post office building with a long history. Built between 1912 and 1913, it was officially opened as the Wan Chai Post Office in 1915. This simple building with a gabled roof and an L-shaped design features gables and plaster moldings. It is now used as an Environmental Resource Center by the Environmental Protection Department. Inside, characteristic heritage items such as the service counter, post boxes, and stamp vending machines from that time are still preserved. There are also old photos of the Wan Chai Post Office’s operation hanging on the wall.
Opening hours: Open all year round. Monday, Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 – 17:00.
