Located in the southern Zhejiang golden coastal line, there is a newly developed attraction last year – Palm Bay Scenic Area. Palm Bay is 50 kilometers away from the county town, 7 kilometers north of Chixi Town, east facing the ocean, 10 kilometers south of the Yu Liao beach, and west adjacent to He Ding Mountain. The area is named Palm Bay, also known as Zongli Tou, due to the ancient palm trees that once covered the mountains and fields. The scenic area occupies five kilometers of the Cangnan golden coastal line, with a total area of 968 acres. It currently has the largest camping base in Cangnan, the best sunrise and sunset viewing points in Cangnan, Cangnan’s ‘Cape of Good Hope’, and historical sites such as the anti-Japanese camp of over 600 years, watchtowers, the Cape of Good Hope, Eryulong Beach, and the colorful pebble beach. The entire area is open from 7:30 to 17:30 all year round. A must-see tip: it is advised not to wear high heels when visiting here.
