Panlong Mountain is located in the southern part of Queshan County. It is also known as Panlong Mountain, Pan Mountain, and Long Mountain. Locals in Queshan often refer to it as the Southern Mountain.
Panlong Mountain has two peaks. The eastern peak stands at 233 meters, symbolizing the dragon’s head. The western peak stands at 215 meters, symbolizing the dragon’s tail. The dragon’s head faces the Guan Mountain like a pair of towers. There is a narrow passage about 1 kilometer in length between them. Through this passage, the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and the Beijing-Shenzhen Highway pass, forming a strategic chokepoint for north-south traffic.
The mountain is open all year round and accessible 24/7. Specific business hours are subject to the daily opening conditions.
