The Panlong Mountain Great Wall is located within the territory of Gubeikou Village, Gubeikou Town, Miyun District, Beijing. It is a section of the Gubeikou Great Wall. The Panlong Mountain Great Wall, together with the Wohu Great Wall to the west, Shuiguan Great Wall, Tiemen Pass, and barbican, constitutes the core of the Gubeikou Great Wall defense system. In history, it was an important military fortress.

The Panlong Mountain Great Wall is 5 kilometers long and winds among the lofty mountains and deep valleys. Looking into the distance, it is like a giant dragon coiling around the mountain. Since this section of the Great Wall has not been repaired too much, it appears simple and desolate, but it also maintains a complete historical style. The most outstanding parts are General Tower and 24-Eyed Tower.

The General Tower is the commanding height of the Panlong Mountain Great Wall. It has a total of 22 door openings and maintains its original appearance, appearing magnificent. This is the place where the command organs are set up. During the war, this is the place where the enemy and us compete most fiercely. The 24-Eyed Tower is the last enemy tower on the east side of the Panlong Mountain Great Wall and echoes the General Tower from afar.

The 24-Eyed Tower has three floors. There are three arrow windows on each side of the first and second floors. The top floor is surrounded by battlements. It has a total of 24 observation openings, which are rare in the history of Great Wall architecture and are very precious. Standing on this simple and ancient Great Wall and looking into the distance, the scenery is magnificent and splendid, making people feel a sense of historical vicissitudes.
