Panlongshan National Forest Park is located in the eastern suburbs of Jinan, spanning Cai Shi and Gang Gou towns. The park features attractions such as the Pillar of Heaven, Buddha’s Hidden Temple, Tang Dou Spring, and a large forest bath. In spring, the park is filled with blossoming flowers; in summer, the mountains are covered in lush greenery; in autumn, the leaves display a splendid array of colors; and in winter, the park is blanketed in white snow. The park is also known for its babbling brooks.
Within the park, the shade of the trees provides a refreshing environment, a natural oxygen bar that invigorates the spirit. In the morning, one can engage in mountain climbing for fitness; during the day, enjoy the wilderness and charm of the forest; at night, rest among the trees and experience the pastoral life that follows the rhythm of the sun rising and setting. Alternatively, one can boat on Long Xian Tan, wander amidst the green mountains and clear waters; or fish by the shore, enjoying the pleasure of waiting for a willing catch. It is an ideal place for relaxation and leisure. The park is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day.
