Panyu Bridge

Panyu Bridge is located in Panyu District, Guangzhou City. It is a river-crossing passage connecting Haizhu District and Panyu District in Guangzhou City, China. It is one of the components of Huanan Expressway and also one of the main terminal exit of Guangdong Province’s expressway network. Panyu Bridge was initially built in January 1995, completed on July 3, 1998, and put into use on August 12, 1998. Panyu Bridge starts from Tuhua Interchange in the north, crosses the main stream of the Pearl River in the south, Luoxi Island and Sanzhi Xiangshui Channel, and reaches the northern end of Panyu Avenue. The total length of the main bridge is 702 meters. The bridge deck is an eight-lane urban expressway in both directions with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The total investment of the project is 1.1 billion yuan. Opening hours: open all day throughout the year.
