Pao Tai Beach is distinguished by a unique feature: an area at the top of the beach where seawater has smoothed the colorful pebbles into a polished surface. These pebbles vary in size, providing comfort for sitting and lying down, and offering endless amusement. Some visitors even collect a few to take home as souvenirs. The beach has an inverted ‘nai’ shape, with a width of only about 40 meters at the top and about 150 meters at the bottom. Due to the gentle slope of the beach, during the low tide on the 3rd and 18th days of the lunar month, the exposed beach stretches longitudinally for over 200 meters.
