Zhujiang Park is located in the heart of Zhujiang New Town, Tianhe District, Guangzhou. It is an ecological park primarily focused on greenery and landscape design, akin to a vast forest in the city, with a beautiful environment and an elegant style.
The park is predominantly characterized by plant configurations on the eastern side, where artificial hills are covered with vegetation, creating a feeling of being immersed in a forest. On the western side, the area is more open, with green spaces as the main feature, transitioning gradually from the dense vegetation on the eastern side to the open greenery on the western side. The architecture within the park mostly features Lingnan style, with pavilions of various designs, including wooden structures and concrete structures. The Magnolia Garden’s pavilion has a blue roof and white columns, appearing light and refreshing; the Baozhu Tower is a hilltop observation deck, one of the main attractions in the park and the highest point of the entire park, but due to the dense trees, one cannot see any of the park’s attractions from the top. The park utilizes various planting techniques and different tree species to reflect different seasonal and flowering phases, creating a rich variety of plant colors and a distinct layered landscape.
