The Pearl River Tower is recognized as a ‘green beacon’ in the fight against environmental pollution. The building harnesses wind and solar energy to generate its own power, and can even sell surplus electricity to the power grid.
Covering an area of 10,636 square meters, the Pearl River City project is composed of a podium and a tower. The tower stands at 309 meters with 71 floors, while the podium is 27 meters high with 3 levels, and there are 5 basement levels. The total construction area reaches 210,000 square meters, with more than 40,000 square meters in the basement and approximately 170,000 square meters above ground.
The building serves as an office tower, and visitors are only allowed to view it from a distance. It is open all year round and accessible 24/7 for exterior viewing.
