Peng Chau Island administratively belongs to the Outlying Islands District. The island is located southeast of Discovery Bay in Lantau Island and northeast of Mui Wo. Finger Hill, with an elevation of 95 meters, offers a panoramic view of Hong Kong Disneyland and Discovery Bay. Peng Chau’s shape resembles a ‘concave’ character, with the indented part being the East Bay, and the southern and northern sides are known as South Bay and North Bay, respectively. There is a road on the island connecting to Tai Lai Island, and at the northeastern end, there is a ‘Fishing Rock’. Shops on Peng Chau are concentrated around the pier area. Although there are vehicles on Peng Chau, they are used for special purposes, and bicycles are the general mode of transportation. For external transportation, ferries are relied upon. The opening hours and business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
