The Fengtai Scenic Area is located on the hillside in front of Fengbu Ding, more than 20 miles west along the coast from Penglai Pavilion. Climbing to the top and looking north, you can see the Changshan Archipelago, resembling a winding dragon lying in the azure waves, with the divine beauty of mountains and sea all within sight. The main structure within the scenic area is the Bixia Yuanjun Palace, which was originally built in the 18th year of the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty and has been extensively renovated and expanded during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, making it a well-known scenic spot. The palace halls, pavilions, and towers are all in the architectural style of the Ming and Qing dynasties, totaling three courtyards with 108 buildings including halls, gates, and towers. Additionally, the scenic area is planted with a large number of flowers and ornamental trees, with various flowers blooming successively throughout the year, filling the garden with fragrance. In front of the mountain gate square, the majestic Huabiao towers, and under the small bridge in the square, the water murmurs gently.
