The penguins in the penguin pavilion of Beijing Zoo are temperate penguins. They live in Peru in South America and nearby islands, so they are named Peruvian penguins. Compared with Antarctic penguins, temperate penguins are a little shorter in size and stature, but it does not affect their cuteness.
