As Hong Kong’s first truly pet-friendly place, The Mills not only provides a free activity space for owners and furry friends but also undertakes the mission of promoting social cohesion. It holds various activities for people and their furry companions to enjoy together and promotes the concept of harmonious coexistence between people and pets. Five years after its opening, The Mills has become an iconic pet-friendly art and cultural hotspot, accompanying countless owners and furry friends as they grow together. Cherishing this deep bond and emotion, The Mills will hold the pet-friendly interactive art exhibition ‘Furry Bonds and Tales’ from November 9th to 28th. Seven renowned illustrators from Hong Kong (Li Xianglan, Pris Pang, ‘Jili Gulu’), Taiwan (Li Jinlun), Japan (matsui, Natsumi Teraoka), and South Korea (Nyangsongi) are invited to draw and create works for this exhibition. Their works will be interspersed throughout the exhibition, leading owners and furry friends to experience the journey of life in different styles. The interactive exhibition area of ‘Furry Bonds and Tales’ is carefully designed. Different from ordinary galleries, the exhibition starts from the perspectives of owners and furry friends. The illustrations are placed at angles and positions where both owners and furry friends can experience together. Along the exhibition route, different interactive sensory devices are added, and many familiar and interesting scenes from daily life are integrated, such as the living room after being mischievously messed up by furry friends and the large TV that broadcasts the cute reactions of furry friends in real time. It hopes to present the life journey that owners and furry friends have gone through together in a relaxed yet delicate way. This exhibition allows owners and furry friends to participate together, simulating the whole process from the birth of furry friends to accompanying their growth and experiencing that unique life journey. The full text is open from November 9th to November 28th. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
