The island is home to high-quality hotels, an international yacht club, and an international cruise port, earning its reputation as the Dubai of the East and a paradise for sea vacations. Phoenix Island is surrounded by water on all sides, connected to the city’s Binhai Avenue Guangming Road by a 394-meter-long and 17-meter-wide cross-sea sightseeing bridge. It is adjacent to the Luhuitou Park on the south side, the estuary of Sanya River on the southeast side, and the beautiful 17-kilometer-long Sanya Bay beach on the north side.
