The scenic area is located in the beautiful southern mountainous area of Jinan, within Wuzhuang Township, Changqing District. It is backed by Wuyao Highway in the north and connected to the urban area through Gao’er and Zhonggong. It is connected to Wuzhuang Township in the west and joins National Highway 104. It is 30 kilometers away from the urban area of Jinan with convenient transportation and is connected to the famous Mount Tai in China. Here, one can look south to the top of Mount Tai and north to the sacred realm of Lingyan. It is currently the only relatively large tourist area in Jinan that is well-preserved. The scenic area takes nature and environmental protection as its theme and health, leisure, and harmony as its purpose. The original natural landscape is completely preserved, and construction conducive to sustainable development such as building dams, storing water, and afforestation has been carried out. Inside the scenic area, waterfalls hang high, streams gurgle, clear springs gush, and pool water is deep blue. Insects chirp and birds sing, colorful butterflies flutter, pine and maple forests cover the green fields, and mountain flowers are in full bloom. One can not only appreciate strange rocks and famous springs but also climb the Moon-Watching Pavilion to observe the pine forests and the majestic Mount Tai. The scenic area is composed of Longxiling Scenic Area, Shimenyu Scenic Area and other parts. There are numerous scenic spots, including Qinglongtan, Xiaolongwan, Ancient People’s Cave, Daughter-in-law Bay, Fairy Pool, Boat Scoop Head, Tear Spring, etc., and there are many beautiful and moving legends. The tourist area has charming scenery, majestic mountains and beautiful ridges, strange pines and famous springs. It has Mount Motianling, the highest peak in Jinan City, as well as many natural landscapes such as Red Stone Cliff, Hundred Birds Forest, Panlong Cave, God Turtle Pool, Longevity Star Stone, Lying Elephant Stone, and Kissing Spring. The tourist area has a mild climate, dense forests, sweet and clear mountain springs rich in minerals. There are many varieties of wild vegetables.
