Fenghuang Temple in Hangzhou, established during the Tang Dynasty, is named for its architectural structure resembling a phoenix spreading its wings.

The main buildings are oriented towards Mecca, arranged along the east-west central axis. The architectural style of the main hall embodies the unique elegance and simplicity of the Jiangnan region, making it one of the ancient structures within Fenghuang Temple.

The temple is open to visitors from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM all year round.
