The museum houses a collection of numerous machines used by humans to listen to music a century ago, along with a variety of antique electrical appliances. In addition to close-up visits, you can also enjoy the antique music and the wonderful melodies emitted by phonographs from over a century ago. The first floor is primarily dedicated to electric sound equipment, while the attic is a collection of ancient manual sound equipment. The antique exhibits are gathered from around the world, and some antiques can still operate manually without any power or light source. With over two hundred exhibits, including: the first-generation drum phonograph, the world’s first cassette recorder, vulcanized 78 RPM records, table organ, hand-cranked music box, hand-cranked telephone, vacuum tube radio, transistor radio, World War II recorder, rotary spherical fluorescent screen television, jukebox, and turntable for playing vinyl records. The exhibits at the Phonograph Museum bear witness to the history of sound equipment development from manual operation to electric power over a century. Opening hours and specific business status are subject to the day’s opening conditions.
