Pingshan Temple is located on the top of Xiaopingping, Dongping Mountain, in the northern suburbs of Hui’an County, Fujian Province. It was first built in 916.
The scale of the temple is magnificent. There is a stone pagoda from the Yuan Dynasty on the north side of the temple and the handwriting of “Watching the Tides” inscribed by Zen Master Ruhuan, which are extremely precious.

There are also small pavilions, tunnels and natural stone carvings dotted in the mountains, making this place have both natural and cultural landscape features, integrating a famous temple and a tourist resort.
