Pingtan Island National Forest Park was approved by the former State Forestry Department in 1992 and officially opened to the public in 1998. It has gradually completed the construction of infrastructure and scenic spots, with park greening gradually being perfected. The park is composed of nearshore hillocks and coastal beaches, with rich natural resources and distinct landscape levels, connected to the Longfengtou Beach on the east side. The park stands out for its natural charm of ‘forest and sea’, integrating tourism with health, making it an ideal place for summer retreat, rest, and entertainment. The National Forest Park currently offers seafood stalls, children’s entertainment areas, and barbecue facilities. Open all year round, accessible 24/7.
