Pingtan Strait Bridge - Fujian's First Cross-Sea Mega Bridge

Pingtan Strait Bridge marks the first true cross-sea mega bridge in Fujian Province.
The bridge commences at the Pingtan mainline toll station in Donghan Town, Fuqing City, spans across the Haitan Strait, and reaches its terminus at the Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone, Pingtan Mainline Inspection Station.

With an investment of 1.13 billion yuan, the completed Pingtan Strait Bridge spans a total length of 4976 meters, including a bridge deck of 3510 meters, constructed to a four-lane dual carriageway standard.

The bridge was inaugurated for trial operation on November 30, 2010, and is open to traffic all year round, with full-day accessibility.
