The Prince Regent’s Mansion Horse Yard, situated to the east of the Chun Prince Mansion, is an integral part of the princely residence. Facing south and positioned in the north, this horse yard encompasses two courtyards with a total construction area of approximately 1900 square meters. Each courtyard is adorned with buildings to the north, south, and west, and the original horse troughs are still preserved within the premises.
At present, the location is home to the Second School for the Deaf and Mute in Beijing, and it remains closed to the public. On sunny afternoons, one can often observe a group of elderly men at the entrance, engaging in leisure activities. They set up several tables where some play mahjong, others play cards, and some enjoy a game of Chinese chess, all relishing their free time.
As for the opening hours, the exterior of the horse yard is accessible all day, every day of the year. However, specific opening times for the interior are subject to the on-site announcements of the scenic area.
