The Princess House is a famous old building in Badaguan Scenic Area. It is a group of courtyard villas with Nordic coastal style. The Princess House has exquisite shape and vivid colors. Whether it is the scenery of the courtyard or the decoration inside the house, it is full of European style. Due to the romantic story related to the prince and princess of Denmark, it attracts many tourists.

The Princess House was built in the 1930s. It has one basement floor and three floors above ground, as well as a courtyard. Today, this house has a striking blue exterior wall and a red roof. In the courtyard, you can see fountains, stone bridges and miniature castles. The whole building is full of fairy tale atmosphere. The decoration style inside the house is more simple and lively. At the same time, there are also some classical furniture decorations. You can also see the wooden escalators, floors and wainscots with exquisite texture. On the second floor of this building, there is a princess bedroom and a balcony.

It is said that in the 1930s, Prince Axel of Denmark and his wife Princess Margaret visited Qingdao. The couple took a fancy to this land and decided to build a beautiful house. But in fact, the princess never lived here. However, the name ‘Princess House’ spread. In recent years, some scholars have pointed out that this legend is not true and believe that the builder of this building is someone else, and it is still a mystery.
