Pu Tuo Temple is located at the foot of the picturesque Phoenix Mountain in Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai. Originally known as Huai’an Ancient Temple, it was established in the early years of the Qing Shunzhi period. After subsequent renovations and expansions, the present-day Pu Tuo Temple showcases the exquisiteness of ancient architectural art. The temple’s yellow walls and black tiles, along with its upturned eaves and corners, are complemented by exquisitely crafted Buddha statues with majestic postures.
The temple’s bell tower houses a striking ‘Da Lu Bronze Bell’ weighing 7000 jin, which resonates with a thunderous sound and lingering echoes when struck. Visitors can also enjoy the vegetarian meals offered here. The temple is open all year round from 05:00 to 19:00, except for the Wu Guan Hall which is not open to the public.Pu Tuo Temple
