Putuo Mountain College of Chinese Buddhist Academy is located on Zhujiajian Island, a scenic spot in Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. It faces Putuo Mountain, the Buddhist kingdom on the sea, across the sea. It is a place that makes people linger and is full of cultural and artistic atmosphere. The college is backed by Longhu Mountain. The architecture adopts the Tang-style style and is built by the lake. The layout is exquisite and the momentum is magnificent. As soon as you enter the main entrance of the college, there is the Mahavira Hall. The hall is in the traditional layout of Sui and Tang loft. On both sides of the mountain gate are two narrow and long corridors. The courtyards in the corridors and the Mahavira Hall are surrounded by lotus ponds. The paths paved with crisscrossed granite connect all directions. There are koi and turtles in the pond. There are also grey cranes in the release pond. The environment is quiet and secluded. The opening hours are only open to the school’s teaching staff and monks.
