Qi Pan Xiagu Valley, covering approximately 668 hectares, is nestled in the serene and picturesque section of Qianxi, where the stream flows for ten miles. It is an agricultural and forestry leisure and sightseeing park that integrates film and television shooting, outdoor expansion, tourism and leisure, fresh fruit picking, and seedling planting. The valley is divided into seven distinct sections: ‘Cang Sang Valley’, ‘Ming Ke Valley’, ‘Da Xiang Valley’, ‘Zheng Liu Valley’, ‘Zui Jiu Valley’, ‘Xian Zong Valley’, and ‘Shi Hun Valley’.
Among them, ‘Cang Sang Valley’ is relatively flat and open, composed of the film base ‘Tang City’ and Confucian culture centered around Zhu Xi, which embodies profound historical and cultural connotations. Some film masterpieces such as ‘The Legend of the Double Dragons’, ‘Yongle Heroes’, ‘Wudang’, ‘Who’s in Charge’, ‘The Swordsman’, ‘Jing Wei Legend’, ‘New Legend of White Snake’, ‘Zhu Yuanzhang Returns’, ‘Flying Dance’, and ‘The Shadow of the Immortal’ have been filmed and produced here. The scenic area’s undulating peaks, meandering streams, and integration with the natural environment showcase the harmony between humans and nature, as well as the charm of water and rock. It is acclaimed as having the ‘strange beauty of Yandang’ and the ‘Shangri-La of the South’. The main tourist attractions include sightseeing, Xiagu drifting, outdoor expansion, chess and card entertainment, farmhouse dining, flower and seedling viewing, and seasonal fruit picking.
