Qianbu Jinsha is named after its length of nearly a thousand paces. The beach from the northern foot of Jibao Ridge to Wanghaiting is about 1,750 meters long and is called Qianbu Jinsha. It is a relatively large beach on Mount Putuo. The sand surface is wide and gentle, and the sand quality is soft, fine and clean. At the northern end, there is a huge rock rooted in the sand. When the water recedes, the rock is exposed. There are two characters “Listening to the Tide” written on it. There are stone steps leading to Wanghaiting. Qianbu Jinsha has sand as golden as color, pure and soft, wide and beautiful. It is like a brocade mat. When people walk on it, they will not be wet or sink. Here, the waves lap the shore day and night, and the sound of the waves is incessant. The waves play with the sand. When they come, they are like a waterfall. When they stop, they are like a trailing silk. Whenever there is a strong wind and rough waves, it roars like thunder and turns into snow, thrilling people’s souls. In an instant, it is extremely strange and unusual. The unique landscape is indescribable.
