Qianfo Cliff is located on the south side of Xingguo Chan Monastery within the Qianfoshan Scenic Area. It is one of the earliest groups of sculptures in Jinan City and holds significant value for the study of Buddhism during the Sui Dynasty in China.
On the cliff, there are Buddha statues carved from the seventh year (587 AD) to the fifteenth year (595 AD) of the Kaihuang era of the Sui Dynasty, totaling 9 caves with more than 130 statues. Jile Cave is the main cave of the sculpture group, with Amitabha Buddha sitting in meditation in the middle, standing 3 meters tall, adorned with a halo of Buddha light. On the right side stands Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, and on the left side stands Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, both nearly 3 meters tall, carved in the eleventh year (591 AD) of the Kaihuang era. The other caves are scattered on the stone walls outside the cave.
