Qianhai Bay is also known as Dachan Bay. It is located in the sea area at the junction of Nanshan District and western Bao’an District of Shenzhen. It covers an area of about 30 square kilometers. There are bays on both the east and west sides of Nantou Peninsula. The bay on the east is called Houhai Bay, and the bay on the west is this one, called Qianhai Bay.
