The Qianye Grassland Scenic Area is located along the Yankou to Wawu line of Fangdou Mountain Range in Shizhu County, Chongqing. It is only 34 kilometers away from Xituo, an ancient town of Ming and Qing Dynasties at the Yangtze River port. It is 43 kilometers to Zhongxian along National Highway 318. There are well-known scenic spots such as Shibaozhai and Fengdu Ghost City around its periphery, forming a loop. The location advantage is very prominent.
With an average altitude of 1300 meters, it has a wide and flat terrain and a regional area of 6600 hectares. The scenic area is rich in resources and has outstanding characteristics. It integrates mountains, forests, grasslands, stones and livestock. Four characteristic tourism resources, including ten thousand mu of grassland, ten thousand mu of pyracantha, ten thousand mu of stone teeth and ten thousand mu of forest, are embedded in it. The scenic area is full of green grass, fragrant flowers and singing birds. Cattle and sheep are in groups, just like an exquisite traditional Chinese painting.
The scenic area develops four functional areas: Yankou leisure service reception area, Maping ethnic sports and fitness area, Daping grassland sightseeing and entertainment area, and Wawu Tujia folk custom experience area. Inside, characteristic projects such as cattle racing field, bullfighting field, lawn sunbathing area, leisure cabin, Hongdou Avenue and racecourse will be planned and constructed.
