Qibu Gully Scenic Area is located in Huoshuixiang, Wu’an, Hebei, situated in the midst of the Hebei Wu’an National Geopark and National Forest Park. It is named after the Buddhist ‘Seven Steps of Lotus’. The scenic area covers an area of about 15 square kilometers, consisting of six scenic spots including the entrance view, leisure resort, Baipu Gorge, Luohan Gorge, Ma Wu Stockade, and Sanling Mountain.
It integrates ecological tourism, religion and historical culture, red tourism, and leisure vacation. The area is characterized by layered peaks, towering strange peaks, cascading waterfalls, and fragrant birds and flowers. Natural landscapes such as Tianjing Lake, South Heavenly Gate, Stone Forest Peak, and Red Stone Stockade are breathtaking; legends of eminent monks practicing in Luohan Cave, hermits living in the Hermit Tower, and Ma Wu Stockade’s military training are fascinating. ‘Ancient Buddha Land, Fairyland Qibu Gully’, it is an excellent choice for sightseeing, leisure vacation, Buddhist exploration, historical appreciation, outdoor experience, and red education.
