Qi Jia Mountain Fortifications are located on the top of Qi Jia Mountain, Xiaogang, Beilu, Beilun District. The fortifications have an elliptical plan with a circumference of approximately 600 meters.
It is said that the ‘Qi Family Army’ was stationed here during the Ming Dynasty. In 1881 (the seventh year of the Guangxu reign), the garrison commander Yang Chunhe constructed a blockstone fortification, which was 12 meters high and 34 meters wide. The ruins of the walls are still visible today. In July 1981, it was designated as a key cultural relics protection unit at the county level. In December 1989, it was included as one of the Haikongkou Coastal Defense Sites.Qi Jia Mountain Fortifications
