Qile Menghua Xixue Paradise, originally known as Zitong Mountain Ski Resort, was established in 2012, covering an area of 120,000 square meters with a total investment of 30 million yuan, making it one of the largest ski resorts in the central Shandong region. In 2012, the resort had already completed the construction of beginner, intermediate, and snow circle tracks, with other facilities to be gradually completed and put into use by 2015.
Zitong Mountain Ski Resort boasts a snow depth of up to 2 meters, featuring a picturesque landscape of pristine snow, a clear blue sky, majestic Great Wall, and fresh air. Artificial snowflakes fill the air, and the high concentration of negative oxygen ions provides a rejuvenating experience. Visitors can immerse themselves in the grandeur of the northern landscape as described by the poet Li Bai: ‘The snowflakes of Yan Mountain are as large as mats.’ The ski resort operates from mid-December to early March of the following year, with a daily capacity of 2,000 visitors and over a thousand parking spaces. More than a hundred professional ski instructors are available for guidance. The resort is open from December 22nd to March 8th from 08:00 to 17:00; from March 9th to December 21st, it is closed all day. Preferential policies include: Children under 1.4 meters (excluding 1.4 meters) can enjoy a half-price ticket for the park entrance at 15 yuan. Half-price tickets are also available for minors and full-time college and undergraduate students with a valid student ID or ID card. Note that during New Year’s Day and Spring Festival holidays, no preferential policies apply, and the park entrance fee is uniformly charged at 30 yuan per person. The park entrance ticket does not include any snow play projects or snow equipment.
