Introduction: The Qilushan Scenic Area is located in the northern suburbs of Yiwu City, within Suxi Town. It mainly features mountain scenery viewing. The scenic area takes Qifu Temple as the central scenic spot. The mountain has a natural landscape and is magnificent and beautiful. It combines majesty, grandeur, elegance, steepness, tranquility, and danger. There are many natural and cultural landscapes, and the climate is cool and pleasant. It is a tourist destination for summer vacation, leisure, health care, and vacation. The area is lush with various types of vegetation. There are the Qifu Temple with a long history and legend, Dongqing Jinshi Ancestral Hall, Chanshenghuajia, Canglong Cave, and Shenguidaodanyan. Together with the strange mountains, strange waters, and strange rocks in the area, they form a unique landscape with high appreciation value.

Qifu Temple: It was first built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. At first, it was a nunnery. With strong incense and the vicissitudes of time, it was destroyed and rebuilt several times. Finally, it has reached today’s scale. Xianxiaoju is said to be Lou Zhen, a Jinshi from Dongqing Village during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. He served as a court official and was extremely filial to his mother. His mother believed in Buddhism and did good deeds. She liked to chant sutras in a quiet place. Her son specially chose a place to build a house for his mother to live in seclusion and practice Buddhism. Therefore, it is named Xianxiaoju.

Dongqing Jinshi Ancestral Hall: Built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, the original appearance of the building is relatively well-preserved. There are steles from the Ming and Qing Dynasties and it has high cultural relic protection value.

Shenguidaodanyan: In the large mountain on the east side of Chaye Wu, there are hard rocks everywhere with various shapes. Some are like arhats, and some are like giant beasts. It is said that one of the huge rocks is shaped like a stone turtle with a complete head and feet. It crawls down the mountain on all fours and wants to steal the elixir refined by Lu Dongbin among the Eight Immortals at the bottom of Chaye Wu valley. Unexpectedly, it is detected by Lu Dongbin. Lu Dongbin immediately takes out his sword and injures one of its feet. With immortal techniques, it is immobilized in place and cannot move up or down. Therefore, this scene is named after this allusion.

Canglong Cave: In winter, water vapor continuously escapes. According to legend, there is a fire dragon buried in the cave. This is the breath exhaled by the fire dragon. Therefore, there is no frost or snow on the plants around this cave, and the temperature is several degrees higher than other places. Of course, this is just a legend. The scientific explanation is that due to geothermal heat following the cracks in the earth’s crust, it is discharged in this cave.

Tianjing Spring and Stone Man and Stone: Hundreds of meters down from Canglong Cave, there is an ancient spring named Tianjing Spring. No matter how long the weather is dry, this spring will never run dry and is clear and sweet. Beside the spring stands a tall rock that looks like a person. According to legend, this stone man guards the clear spring for immortals to drink and does not allow ordinary people to approach.
